Jarrett Taylor, MA, LCMHC, LCAS

CEO, Program Director & Licensed Therapist

Jarrett Taylor has been a driving force at Sunpath, LLC since 2005. As CEO and Program Director, he leads with clarity, vision and an unwavering commitment to client transformation. A Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist with nearly two decades of behavioral health experience, he is widely regarded as a master facilitator, particularly in substance use treatment. Known as the “group guru,” Jarrett brings structure, skill and results to every session while keeping things real and relatable.  

His firm but fun style makes him both respected and approachable to clients and staff alike. In group and individual sessions, he excels at fostering openness and trust, encouraging accountability in a supportive way and helping clients build meaningful connections. He believes in accountability, growth and the power of connection to drive recovery forward.

Clinical Director

Erica Taylor has been a pillar of Sunpath, LLC since 2013. As Clinical Director, she brings a unique blend of clinical excellence, leadership, and heart to every aspect of her work. She oversees the organization’s clinical services and professional development initiatives. Erica specializes in diagnostic evaluation, clinical supervision, therapist training and counselor development, drawing on a range of evidence based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy. In sessions, she uses active listening and talk therapy, supported by tools such as journaling, interactive activities, and structured homework that provide psychoeducation and opportunities to practice new skills. 

Known for her clarity, insight and compassionate leadership, Erica creates a nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and valued. She meets people where they are in life, bringing empathy and warmth to each interaction while building positive therapeutic relationships. She is passionate about nurturing both client growth and clinician confidence, ensuring that care at Sunpath is not only effective but transformative.

Kimberly McLean, MA, LCMHC

Operations Director & Licensed Therapist

Kimberly McLean has been a cornerstone of Sunpath since 2006. As Operations Director and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, she balances agency leadership with direct client care. Specializing in children, teens and young adults, Kim blends playbased and cognitive behavioral techniques to help clients develop coping skills and resilience. She is known for creating safe, supportive environments where young people feel understood and empowered.  

Kimberly’s strengths include a knack for building genuine connections, adapting her approach to each client’s developmental stage and collaborating with families to promote healthy growth. Warm, grounded and family oriented, she empowers her clients to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.

Yesenia Tremba

Finance Director 

Yesenia Tremba has been an essential member of Sunpath since 2009. As Finance Director, she oversees all billing operations with meticulous attention to detail ensuring timely, accurate claims processing, managing reimbursement systems, and maintaining financial compliance across services.

Known for her strong work ethic and commitment to excellence, she is dedicated to helping clients access services without financial barriers. Her bilingual skills and cultural insight also foster clear communication and inclusion across our diverse team and client base. Outside of work, Yesenia enjoys spending time outdoors.

AJ Sims, MSW, LCSW-A, LCAS-A

Licensed Therapist 

AJ Sims joined the Sunpath team in 2024 and has quickly become a valued clinician known for his professionalism, insight, and grounded therapeutic presence. As a dual associate-licensed therapist, he brings a strong clinical foundation and a thoughtful, intentional approach to his work. AJ is especially skilled at creating safe, nonjudgmental spaces where clients feel heard and supported.  

AJ utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other evidence-based approaches to help clients understand and shift unhelpful thinking patterns. His sessions are highly engaging and structured, incorporating a variety of tools, interactive techniques, and meaningful homework assignments designed to reinforce learning and support growth between sessions. With a passion for growth and a commitment to excellence, AJ is continually expanding his skills to deliver high-quality, client-centered care.

Armani Cook

Clinical Administrator

Armani Cook has been part of the Sunpath team since 2023 and is often the very first voice and face clients encounter, setting the tone with grace, professionalism, and warmth. As our Clinical Administrator, Armani manages all front office operations with skill and calm, from answering phones and scheduling appointments to keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. 

Known for her cool, calming presence and ever-present smile, Armani has a natural gift for helping clients feel welcomed, supported, and at ease from the moment they walk through the door. She is the true heartbeat of the front office and plays a vital role in ensuring every person’s Sunpath experience starts on the right note.

Finance Assistant

Maria Aragon has been with Sunpath, LLC since 2025 and serves as a key part of our administrative operations behind the scenes. Finance assistant, Maria handles complex billing processes with care, accuracy, and a sharp eye for detail. Bilingual and inquisitive by nature, she is always willing to ask the right questions to ensure everything is processed correctly and efficiently.

Though she doesn’t work directly with clients, Maria plays a vital role in making sure our systems run smoothly supporting both our team and the financial health of the organization with consistency and excellence.
